Despite the sunny skies.
Despite the late evening sunlight.
Despite what others may be telling you.
Despite the lovely spring items mocking you at Banana and Nordstrom.
Do not venture outside without a coat and leg coverings.
I literally had to RUN to my car from the library on Friday because I was so freezing cold in my "let's all pretend it's appropriate to wear this cotton dress already."
Boo.
While on one of the aforementioned trips to Banana, I kinda fell in love with this trench coat. A trench is a classic that is completely justifiable right?

Turns out, the price tag on the trench is the exact amount I paid to have my window replaced a couple weeks ago.
Darn criminal stole my trench coat...
Oh well. Maybe Lauren will hook me up with her sweet banana discount before it goes on sale. (hint hint! ;-) )
In other news, last Saturday was PWC Ski Day which Ken and I attended. Thursday last week we skipped class and took up Nate's generous offer of free tickets to Deer Valley. That resort is awesome. And that makes two ski days in one week. Go us.
Later that night CZ, Haley and I ventured out to Ashley Anderson (Kirkland)'s wedding reception. It was small and lovely. And had the best yogurt covered pretzels I've ever tasted.

P.S. My DI browsing continues. This couch is slightly awesome. But don't you want to know it its story so badly?! I can't help but wonder.

That is all.

That couch has huge potential. It is also slightly huge.
Love the coat. Too bad the criminal stole it from you.
Boo that you are skiing, and I am not, because oh yeah, I still live in Korea.
I love that couch! Even in orange. Wish I could design a parisian style apartment around it.
I love that trench. So classic. Banana can always be trusted to produce legit classics, and you are gifted at collecting them. Thanks for calling me to go to the reception, it was fun to be there. And keep up the DI browsing, you never know what you might find that you can't live without even if you are moving!
Fabulous trench. You will wear that to and from your fabulous job in DC and never regret its purchase.
Also, although the criminal did cost you the funds for that coat, you can't live in fear. If you change your way of life, the terrorists win.
Go buy the coat. And maybe the couch.
I do love that couch.
I'm sorry about the trench.
You look amazing.
ditto on the looking amazing comment. You do! and the trench is a classic, and if you do get that discount, then it's definantly worth it!
Hello? I'm wondering about the green cardigan from the wedding reception. Can you offer me any details? Is it still available somewhere? Let me know. Thanks so much.
xo
Call me. :)
That couch just reminds me of Sarah, in a good way. btw, thanks for being a friend Rachel!
I notice we are almost done with March, and this is a February post. But I know trying to graduate can be a chore (exams, papers, work, preparing for a trip to Africa). Keep up the good work. DAD
