I love small details and embellishments on my clothes.
I have a great appreciation for clothes with carefully placed embroidery, appliqués, and buttons.
I saw this skirt up at Sundance on Saturday the 13
th while up was up there for a recruiting event.
It was on mega clearance, the last one available.
I can’t imagine why it was still there but I snapped it up.
On Monday morning I woke up late and contemplated skipping class for a nice morning of the gym and a homemade lunch. But once I remembered the lovely skirt I had purchased over the weekend I was eager to get up and go to school. Maybe that’s ridiculous or superficial, but I’d rather look at it as an adequate choice of a coping method.
All day as I looked down at my rick rack skirt I smiled.

Wow! Did you seriously wear those shoes too all day long. I agree they add the perfect touch to the outfit, but they look like they might be hard to wear all day long. Super cute skirt. I wish I had one! Or the life in which you wear such a skirt all day long :)

those are definitely one of my favorite, most comfortable pairs of shoes! in fact i worry that i wear them too much. they're a totally flat heel which is good for walking around all day and i don't have to worry about wearing out the heel cap.
i enjoy dressing up each day. besides, i think i do better in school when i do.
So don't get me wrong, I love rick-rack as much as anyone, but if you have time to come over and play guitar hero in the middle of the day, you definitely have time to put up a new post on your blog! How about a confessional about said guitar hero activities (not that I mind because I don't -- in fact I'm thrilled to have something that draws you to come over).
Surely rick rack is still not the most exciting thing to post about, now nearly a month later! I've heard about the Guitar Hero practice sessions....
What about all yours lists and planning, I would think somewhere on there a little tiny moment could be dedicated to an update. PLEASE!
