Friday morning we hit up Lucky Boy for the world's best breakfast burritos before the beach. (Side note -- I've been going there since high school and yet somehow overlooked the fact that you there are more options than just bacon or sausage burrito. You can also choose ham! Good thing I finally read the menu..)

We spent Friday at Manhattan Beach, followed by a brief trip through Old Town. I really wanted to take Courtney to Melting Pot just for the cheese and chocolate but we were still dressed in our beachy-hobo-ish attire. So she popped into H&M then made a quick change on the street, in front of Tiffany's.

Friday night we met up with Kristin and her date at the Dodger vs. Red Sox game.

Saturday was again spent at Manhattan beach. Such a beautiful, warm day. It's much easier to be happy about life's complications when you're sitting in the sun don't you think? After our play time was over, we headed to the infamous Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles (why not right?). It's a strange combination but their waffles are actually very good.
The Wiley's have been so nice to let us stay with them! They have a beautiful home and it's been so fun to be in La Canada. It makes the driving very easy because I know my way around pretty well.

How fun to be wearing skirts and going to the beach. I thought we were on our way around here but today there is about 6 inches of snow on the ground! ugh.
wait, alan was in california? i didn't know about this part of the trip
I know... crazy. It wasn't part of the plan - I explained it was girls weekend, but he decided to drive out with his buddy for their own trip. We met up a couple times.
It was fun.
Hello, is that Christine our other sister? What's this, she comments on Rachel's but everyone else she is but a phatom :) I'm just jealous. I say Alan gets points for being determined. You may call it something else not as flattering, but I like a guy who knows what he wants. He wants YOU.
68 days until beach week... I can't wait! I'm going to start on my base tan. Phase 1: arms & feet by walking to the park, phase 2: pool time with Jack!
When are you going to take me to Roscoe's? I've never been... :-(
What happened to the everyday posting resolution?! I'm waiting for the California wrap up post, with more delicious food to wish I had eaten too. Likewise Zack, I've never eaten at Roscoe's. But I'm not sure I'm really tempted. I know everyone says it's great, but I'm still a skeptic.
where is the brown tankini from? I love it!
Lisa - The tankini is a couple years old from Everything But Water, this random store in the mall. But it's an Anne Klein suit. I LOVE it but I haven't really been able to find it again since I bought it. Good luck!
