Christmas baking!! Oh how I have missed Mint Surprise cookies. Ken waits all year long to get some. (All the while saying "why can't we have those at times other than Christmas again? Who makes these rules??") But it's just the way it is. I might stretch this Christmas baking season through January, since the treat fast caused a delayed start. Mmm...

The mint surprise cookies here have been an inaugural success. Everyone has been impressed. And with about 8 mints left, I'm feeling sad that we ate through them so quickly. Because, I couldn't agree more, they can't be made again until next Christmas (and when new Fernwood mints get delivered...). Also because they are more effort than chocolate chip cookies, and I only feel like making that much baking effort around Christmas time.
Where are you standing in that picture? Is that from Thanksgiving? You do look really great.

Turns out there was no time for baking. I don't really want to talk about it... But I am still hopeful!
