When I unfolded the lovely, barely worn Citizens of Humanity jeans I noticed a white thready circular patch on the leg. Upon closer inspection I realized it was a SPIDER NEST! Neatly wrapped inside the little cocoon of a web was a spider!
I was hoping it was dead but pretty soon it started twitching in response to the movement of the jeans. I should've taken a picture but at that moment my only thought was KILL! Which I did.
I couldn't bring myself to wear the jeans to the football game afterall and promptly threw them into the washing machine. Who knows what else could be on there! But it's a little depressing to think some of my clothes go unworn for so long that they become spider homes. I mean seriously, that's a problem.P.S. Just a tip, do not search google images for "small spider nest". You will not like what you find.

that's pretty gross, i think i would be tempted to throw them away. but that's awesome you're pulling them out again!!
gross.
I think spiders are totally gross. But losing 14 pounds, that's totally awesome. You are an inspiration. Keep it up!
Seriously way to go on the weight loss! that's a huge accomplishment. And as far as the spiders...I will barely go in my closet since i saw a spider in there on Thursday. So I totally feel for ya.
ew, i can't stand spiders...they seriously scare me! Yay, for fitting into some old jeans. Isn't that the best feeling. I am still waiting for my jeans to fit after having my baby, not sure they will ever fit again :(
Hey Rachel, how about those pictures of the Tanner building banners? I don't think you'll have any spiders to worry about there.
Sick. Maybe you should spend less time shopping. :)
Rachel, 14 pounds is amazing! Maybe I need to start a treat fast myself! Congratulations. I'm so impressed with your will power.
Okay, that is totally nasty ... but you are awesome for losing 14 pounds!! I should consider a treat fast (that's assuming I could go one night without chocolate which is not likely.) You're my hero.
