Oops....

All I can say is it was a giant-run-in-the-tights kind of day.

Didn't happen until halfway through the workday at which point what could I do? The pictures really don't do it justice, the run is downright trashy and I should've been ashamed walking around the office until 11pm like that.

Oh well.

Here's a tiny glimpse of my bedroom. I do intend to share more photos soon. I think I basically have it set up the way it's going to be, I just need to sort through all the mail and clutter on my desk and bookshelf before it's ready for show and tell.

This kind ward-ie helped me hang my chandelier which made me feel 100x closer to being "done" with my room.

Time for bed.
Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.

I hate getting a run in my tights once it's too late to change.

What a nice ward-ie to help you hang that chandelier. Looks great in your room!

I've seen pictures of the Olsen twins running around in tights that have runs and holes all over their legs. Next time that happens just add a few more and you'll be fine.

waiting and waiting and waiting for those pictures... getting bored of waiting...

boo for runs. can you keep a back-up pair of nylons at the office?

the chandelier looks cute in your room. is it the same one you showed earlier hanging in your dining nook? did you move it? does mr. ward-ie have a name? seems a guy willing to do that type of service deserves a personal shout-out.

It's not the same chandelier as is over the kitchen table. And yes it is lovely up there, although none of the switches turn the light on and off (no explanation why). So when I want it on I twist the bulb in and when I want it off I use a hot mitt to unscrew the bulb. Needless to say it's been mostly a decorative piece so far, despite the desperate need for more light.

And no, the ward-ie is truly just that, a random guy off the listserve. Although I will say in a random twist of coincidence he happens to be Alan's brother-in-law. We got a good laugh out of that one!
