Amman Mosque visit

This is just a preview...

On our last day in Jordan we visited a Mosque. For modesty reasons, we all had to put on these amazing black gowns, and for sanitary reasons we had to wear socks (no shoes allowed inside, socks worn to avoid the foot nastiness of 1000s of praying Muslims...).

Mosques are surprisingly plain inside, especially for those used to looking at amazing European cathedrals. But the robes made the visit so much more exciting.

We just couldn't resist the jumping photo...
